Dr. Charles E. Morrison has been president of the Center since August 1, 1998. He has had extensive involvement in the conceptualization, organization and funding of policy-oriented educational research and dialogue projects in both Japan and the United States, and has long been involved in promoting the concept of Asia Pacific community.

A brief business meeting will precede the program in order to elect new members of the Board of Directors for 2016-2017 and to adopt amended Bylaws.
