This year’s annual meeting of the Friends of the EWC (FEWC) will be held virtually for our members and the community. FEWC President Chad Zane will recap our year in review, our plans for 2021, and elect incoming members to the board.

- Speaker: Ambassador (ret) James F. Moriarty
Ambassador James Moriarty is Chairman of the American Institute in Taiwan. A career diplomat in the US Senior Foreign Service, he was Ambassador to Bangladesh (2008-2011) and Ambassador to Nepal (2004 – 2007). He also served as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director at the National Security Council, responsible for advising on and coordinating US policy on East and South Asia, and the Pacific region. Jim was EWC’s Diplomat-in-Resident in 1993–94.
Attendance is free, but registration is required. A Zoom link will be sent to all attendees two days prior to the Annual Meeting.
Attendees who either work or reside near the Maple Garden, may have the option of purchasing a lunch with delivery. Information will be provided as it becomes available.
